I lost most of last week to a migraine that kept flaring up until it finally started raining after days of circling my area, and I'm just now feeling like I've caught back up with the rest of the world.
Anyway, a while back, my sister sent me some photos of my nibblings wearing their backpacks and I never got around to posting.
I love that Niece1 was wearing an appropriate t-shirt when she opened her gift. And she wore it all night the first night - even while making some mac&cheese for dinner lol!
And Niece2 and Nephew wore their backpacks to the museum a few days before Niece1 received hers.
So glad they're getting lots of use!

I started cutting all the edges while Janet was away yesterday morning. When she got back after lunch, she pulled out a roller and started filling in. I'll put a pic below in the comments. #SewingStudioBuild
We broke for lunch and then came back with a portal ac unit plugged in to an extention cord from the house. Can't wait until they finished hooking up all the electrical and we have the mini split cooling the room for us - it was stupid humid today! #SewingStudioBuild

I'm kind of surprised I have to sign up for emails (not sure if I want to yet) considering how many companies sell email lists.
I finally finished the patchwork jeans! @SewBrooke , the elastic in the waistband suggestion worked brilliantly. I ended up taking it as close to the button/buttonholes as I could, because the waistband I originally picked had the buttons on the wrong side and I had to piece it together/the second waistband was also collapsed in from wear. I really don’t know why, I checked against all of my jeans and I did put the fly on the correct side! Anyway, it’s done, and I’ll be happy to come up with a project that takes much less time. After I clean up the leftover bits— it looks like I used 7 pairs of jeans/shorts, so I have a lot of tops and leftover leg/waistband scraps!
